Well its been a long time SLOWLY and getting a few things done got
1. froggy quilt done
2. taught a friend to quilt helped her with her very first quilt
5. my block made to a calendar block swap
6.purse made
and i have 3 quilt tops waiting to be sandwiched and quilted will post them when they are done and have about 5 totes and i can post before and after pictures of my craft/sewing room make over!!! Happy quilting everyone

haven't got much done. I did manage to get a table topper made for a swap, 12 blocks for a calendar swap,a purse, pincushion, and a disappearing nine patch baby quilt done since i lasted posted anything. Still got a little bit of stuff to put away for redoing my craft-sewing room, it might have been done by now put in the middle of all my stuff received 10 tote and sewing machine for one person,10 garbage bags full of fabric from someone else, and 3 box-barrel-bags from someone else. Just wait from the before and after picture of that lol. Manage to find to fw sewing machine for 35.25, one needs a cord I think havent really looked at them yet. My new class starts sept 17th we are doing the double pineapple chunk quilt. From last class the Eleanor burns double pinwheel I have not finished it was a little confusing manage to get one block done and that was it. Very disappointed I am having such a hard time with this quilt was looking forward to having it finished for the class but it didnt work out YET. I got 12 wonky house blocks and a table runner yet to make by the 15th so lucky I have alot of time to sew I just gotta get to it. happy sewing until next time

Pinwheel pieces progress
Well got all the 4.5" piece cut over (700+ pieces) cut now unto iron them yuck. Class tomorrow and next monday yet and my class is over boo-who it went to quick this time. Should at least have the top almost finished by then hopefully if the next weeks goes go for me. Have another baby quilt top and back cut just gotta sandwich together and sew around the blocks and add so pretty bright flowers to it. Picked up the borders and backing for the next baby quilt maybe will get to both of these this week. happy sewing

slowly moving along
Got the strips all sewn yeah (well might be missing one got the color half but cant find the muslin half). Sewed my sundress need to put strips on it but need help with it (so hubby off work tonight so he can pin and measure straps for me). Got class tonight to work on the pinwheel, think ill just take cutting stuff and iron. If i run out of stuff to cut and iron will come home and sew or work more on getting my room back together. Happy sewing

Over half
well outta 92 strips of the pinwheel quilt i think Im over half way there I can see the bottom of the bag finally yeah. Found the fabric for the next baby quilt I am doing. Got the errands ran today so I think i will sew for some and continue to work on putting my craft-sewing room back together,when i is all done will post before during and after picture oh just wait and see the mess LOL happy sewing

hubby works schedule and holidays are sad to me
Just a little note of how i feel for 2012 holidays. Every holiday my hubby has to work from 130pm to 11 pm so our days are spent watching the clock so he not late for work. Due too the pain I have been having in my back and arms for a year now ( the pain is getting so bad a trip to walmart and the grocery store put me to bed on the heating pad) My kid is sent with other family member to the places they are having the family get togethers so he get to be with is cousins,aunt,and uncles and have a good time, but it sadden me Im not there. So hope everyone has a happy easter and enjoy every minute you have of your life with family and friends cause life too short and dont forget the simple joy they bring to your life.

again no dresses
Well I have my dress pinned and ready to sew but spendt most of my day in oo much pain to get alot done. I did manage to sew about 25 of my 92 strips together for my double pinwheel from quilt in a day and got 1and half froggy outlines sewn (might finish the half up after this blog). I got to work on my other cross stitch i have been doing and thats about all I got done today. not a very good day. hubby has off tomorrow so i told him its fend for yourself day for the household Im taking a me day and hopefully busting alot of my sewing projects and get my serger listed on ebay to sell used it 3 times to make purses but decide I going to stick with my other sewing machine and just add the serger foot to it. Happy sewing all

As always things didnt go as planned. Got binding on the front half of the steelers quilt,no dresses made (tuesday is the day now for them now), did work on a frog and going to work on other cross stitch after this. Will see what tomorrow brings. On a good side of things got side tracked cause I was able to go though 5 bins of sewing stuff but still doesnt look like Im getting anywhere,someday ill have my sewing room ALL back to 1 place SOMEDAY.
Slowly getting back into the sewing of things
Well I think the sewing bug has finally bitten me again after the surgery in Dec I really didnt feel like sewing..My class I take 4 times a years started 2 weeks ago so that help also. For valentines my hubby got me a bernina havent used it yet but it sits next to me when im sewing with one of many of my other machines I use. The binding is going on today of the steelers disappearing 9-patch. Going to be sewing 2 sundresses (maybe 3 if there is enough fabric left over) will post pictures of both. For my class we are doing double pinwheel by eleanor burns got all my strips cut now just gotta sew them together which hopefully will sew some today and def tomorrow during my class. Also joined a cross stitch class and been to one class missed 2 due to the pain I have daily but still am working on it will post pictures when I am done with it. My froggy quilt I listed about I draw 7 frogs on and decided to embroidery them by hand (too much detail to sew on machine with them). So I figured if i sew half a frog a day they SHOULD lol be all done in 2 weeks. Happy sewing to all.

Back from dr
Came back from the dr's 2 hours drive for a 3 minute exam. All is well the mast remove wasn't not cancer but was wrapped around muscle and because of my size I have alot of stitching (not the stitching I like with quilt making lol) inside and the reasoning for all my pain was due to too much lifting and bending so 4-6 more weeks with doing a little as possible. to some may sound good but to me I cant even sew alot and over the Christmas holidays my craft room has became a caught all for EVERYTHING and i just had it just about all cleaned up. Due to a recent blogger http://sewmanyways.blogspot.com my husband is all into remodeling my craft/sewing room so I cant wait. Been working on one of the projects listed getting closer to being done so Ill be able to just one off soon.

New to blogging
Hi my name is angie i live in PA. Now that i'm feeling better from having surgery I have sat down and collected a few project i would like to get done.
no order
1. 2 halloween quilts that need sandwiched and quilted
2. froggy quilt needs quilting
3.froggy pj and owl pj pants
4.2 diff or 4 purses i have started and need to finish
5.4 kids quilts was to be down by Christmas but got put on hold
6.snake quilt
7.a thank you wall hanging
8.try basket or a rug make from fabric
9.plus more
My goal is to get most of them done by the end of January hehe we will have to see about all that crossing fingers..All exited going to be remodeling my craft hole as money and time allows ant wait for that. I have seen so many quilts i want to try going to have to keep a list just so i know where to start next. Will be posting other quilts and things i have made in 2011. happy sewing till next time
